18 January 2019: The Knowledge and Software Engineering Laboratory has been renamed to the AI and Software Engineering Laboratory to better reflect the AI component of our research.

Additionally, the lab has become an officially recognised UniSA Research Concentration. With the closure of the old Research Centres this year, including the Advanced Computing Research Centre of which we were a part, UniSA has announced a new set of Research Centres and Concentrations based on a selection process performed at the end of 2018. Only 9 groups were granted Research Centre or Concentration status this year and we are excited to be one of the four inaugural Recognised Research Concentrations.
